2009-11 - Field Lines

Artist statement: This extensive series, inspired by the beach at Charleston, SC, and aerial views of Northern Arizona, is a response to landscape and the systematic, repeated erosion of the surface of the ground by natural forces. The work includes acrylic paintings on canvas, prints (editioned serigraphs, collagraphs and monotypes), and hanging multi-mixed media pieces with drawn and stitched elements.
